“Oh Lord, You Are High And Lifted Up”

Heavenly Father, I humbly fall before you and seek your most holy face. Have mercy on me a sinner saved by grace through faith. You are my refuge and my rock in whom I will place all of my faith and trust. You are Almighty God, the Creator of all that there is, and I will worship you. Have mercy on me oh Lord, for I am a man of like passions, in need of a Saviour. Thank you for giving your life for me on that old rugged cross on Calvary’s hill. You are high and lifted up, and worthy to be praised.

Oh Lord Jesus, hear my cries for I need a touch from you. I desperately need a word from you. Hear my cries oh Lord, and reach down your mighty arm and save me from the enemy. For I am only a man, and you are Almighty God and I will worship you.

Oh Heavenly Father, I exalt you. I will seek you early in the morning when your tender mercies are renewed. For your ways are not mine, and my ways are not yours. You are the great and mighty redeemer of my soul, and I will praise your most holy name.

Lord Jesus, you are my best friend. You are my encourager in the midst of my trials and tribulations. You are the friend that sticketh closer than a brother. You will never leave me nor will you forsake me. Thank you my King for yours is the name above all names, and I will glorify your most holy name.

Lord, you are a consuming fire. You are the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, and all power is given unto you in heaven, in the earth, and beneath the earth. I call upon you in my need, and give you all of the glory, honor, and praise.

Lord Jesus, you are the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Your mighty hand holds me, and will never let go. The earth is your footstool, and you are my great redeemer. I thank you for choosing me from the foundations of the earth, and having mercy on me. In and of myself I am unworthy of your precious love. You have first loved me, and you sought to save me when I was lost in my sin. Thank you my King, for you are magnificent, and your mercy endures forever.

You oh Lord are high and lifted up. You are worthy to be praised, and I will worship you. For your mercy endures forever, and your most holy name is high and lifted up. Hear my cries oh Lord, for in you do I place all of my trust. In your hands I place my life, for you are my protector and my strength. In you, I can do all things, and there is nothing that I cannot do. Your words give me life, and life more abundantly. Thank you my King for your tender mercies which endure forever and ever, time without end.

My precious King, I fervently pray unto you. I seek your most holy face, and your precious touch. My Jesus, my Lord, my King, and my deliverer, I ask you to protect my children from the wiles of the enemy. I pray that your hand of mercy be upon them, and their children, and their children’s children.

Oh Lord, your ways are not our ways, and our ways are not your ways. You are our strong high tower in whom we will trust. In you we will send ten thousand to flight, for you are Almighty God, and there is none like you.

I will praise you with my whole heart, mind, and soul, and I will lift my hands in surrender to you most holy Lord. For yours is all of the power, and all of the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

“The Critical Spirit”

Greetings brethren. The Lord has impressed upon my heart to write about some things that are prevalent in the church today. One thing in particular that He has spoken to my heart about is; “The Critical Spirit”. I am writing about this because those of us who are of the household of faith must search our own hearts and examine them in such a way so that we do not fall prey to this attitude of the heart. So often we allow ourselves to become disillusioned by those we call our brothers and sisters in the Lord, who may not treat us the way we think that they should. The enemy of our soul will whisper in our ears that brother or sister so and so did not shake our hand this morning at church, so therefore they have ought against us. So, we listen to the whispers and lies of the enemy, and begin to be critical of this particular brother or sister, and quite possibly a root of bitterness my spring up in our hearts, that in the end may choke out the word of the Lord in our hearts and lives. Beware of the critical spirit my brethren, for this is not of God. We must recognize that our brothers and sisters in the Lord are not perfect, and neither are we. We must lift up our brethren, through prayer, encouragement, and exortation.

It is apparent to me that the enemy wants to corrupt our hearts with the cares of this life. He is always looking for the one that he may devour, and it is our responsibility as followers of our Lord Jesus to not tear down our brethren, but lift them up in the Spirit of Love. Be encouraged my brethren, for the Lord is the Potter, and we are the clay, and He will complete that perfect work that He has started in our lives. Do not let the lies of the enemy cause you to look for the imperfections in the lives of your brothers and sisters in the Lord, but instead look at them through the eyes of the Spirit, and see that which the Lord is doing in their lives, and be an encouragement to them. See what they will become in the Lord, and not what they are not at this point and time. Pray for them with all diligence, and no matter what the critical spirit might say about them, do not entertain such negative thoughts. For if we entertain such thoughts, we are setting ourselves up for failure, and a bitter heart as well.

I have most recently been seeking the face of the Lord for discernment with regards to those who are in the body of Christ who have this attitude of the heart. I have been binding this spirit in the name and the blood of Jesus, and I have praying against it springing up in my church. The critical spirit will cause division in a church among the body of Christ, and it will be a vexation to both soul and spirit if it is allowed to continue. We must pray against this attitude of the heart in our lives, and we must ask the Lord for discernment with regards to how to not only identify it, but how to bind it from manifesting in our lives and in the lives of other believers as well.

We must understand that no matter how poorly our brother or sister in the Lord has treated us, we are to forgive them 7 times 70 times. We are to love them as the Lord Jesus has so loved us, and we are to lift them up, not tear them down. We must encourage our brothers and sisters in the Lord, and not back bite and gossip against them. For one day will will be required to give an account of our lives and how we lived them. Remember that we are all sinners saved by grace through faith, and that if we do not forgive our brother his trespasses against us, the Lord will not forgive us of ours against Him. So, in the Spirit of Love, I encourage you my brethren to search your hearts and allow the Lord to create in you a clean heart, and to also renew a right spirit within you as well. We must love our brothers and sisters in the Lord without reservation my brethren. Even if they trespass against us, we must love them no matter what. So, as I close, I want to encourage you to pray about what has been written, and examine your hearts. We must not allow the critical spirit to bring any more division within the body of Christ. We must love our brothers and sisters in the Lord, and forgive them for any hurt or wrong that they may have done against us, for this is the commandment of the Lord Jesus. Be encouraged my brethren, for if we are obedient, we will reap such blessings that we will not be able to fathom them or contain them. Be blessed. Amen.

Peace, Be Still

Mark 4:39; And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was great calm.

Greetings brethren. The Lord Jesus has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to us as His followers, that we are to know that we know, that He is the one who rebukes the storms in our lives, and then brings about calm and peace that passes all understanding.

So often we find ourselves in the midst of the storms of this life. the winds and the rains are raging, and it seems as though our lives are about to capsize much like a boat in the raging sea. Take heart my brethren, for the Lord Jesus is our deliverer. He will make a way where there is none, and He will deliver us from all evil. Though we may be walking in the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord Jesus is our Great Shepherd, and He will lead us through the valley, onto the highest mountaintop if we will but trust and wait upon Him.

In these last days, the world will wax worse and worse, and if we do not guard our hearts, the winds and the waves of the cares of this life will overtake us, and we will become unfruitful in our lives. The Lord Jesus is calling all of us who call upon His most precious name, to be faithful unto the end, and trust in Him with our whole hearts, minds, and souls. Be encouraged my brethren, for one day very soon, we shall behold His most holy face. We shall hold His nail scarred hands, and touch his pierced side. Be encouraged my brethren, for we are more than blessed among men, for our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life, and we will be with our Lord and Saviour forever and ever, and time without end.

Understand this my brethren, we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus has overcome death, hell, and the grave. We are His little children, and we are His kings and priests. In and through our Lord Jesus, we have overcome the enemy, because Jesus has overcome him for us. It is time that we who are of the household of faith live victorious lives in Jesus. We must understand who we are in Him, and be bold in our witness and testimony, for in Jesus we are indeed victorious over the enemy of our soul. The enemy has no power over us, for the Lord goes before us in all things. He has crushed the head of the serpent, and we are to walk in the victory that our Lord has given to us.

Be encouraged brethren, for our redemption draws near. We will be caught up to meet Him in the air one day very soon. We must preach the gospel of peace to every creature, as the Lord has commanded us to do. Pray without ceasing, and read and study His holy word as often as you can. Take every thought captive, unto the obedience of Christ. Do not entertain the lusts of the flesh, but reprove the unfruitful works of darkness, and live a life that is holy and set apart unto the Lord.

Take heart my brethren, for the Lord Jesus is returning for a bride that is a chaste virgin, without spot or wrinkle. He has called us to the marriage supper of the Lamb, and one day soon, we who call on the name of Jesus, will be caught up to meet Him in the air. Be encouraged that we cannot be plucked from His mighty hand, and that He has gone before us in all things. We are more than conquerors in our Lord Jesus, and He is returning for us soon, and very soon. Prepare your hearts my brethren. Prepare your hearts. Amen.

“The Grace of God”

Ephesians 2:8-9; For by grace ye are saved through faith: and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

The Lord has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to us as followers of the Lord Jesus. My brethren, the Lord has given us so many gifts. He has blessed us to overflowing with His tender mercies, and He will continue to do so, for we are His elect from the foundations of the earth. We are truly blessed, that we are to be called His kings and priests, and we are called to be salt and light, and preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus to the utter ends of the earth to every creature under the sun.

We have been given such grace and mercy, and we are called truly blessed among all of God’s creation. For the Lord Jesus left all of the glory and majesty of heaven to take the form of a man. He was without sin, and perfect. He was both God, and man, and He gave His precious life for many. We who are chosen from the foundations of the earth, are seated with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:5-6 states; Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

We are truly blessed my brethren. We must remember who we are in the Lord Jesus, and walk according to His holy word. We must put off the things of the old man, and take on the things of the new man. We must crucify the flesh daily through prayer, and the reading and study of God’s holy word. We are called to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus to every creature. We are called to be salt and light in this lost and dying world. We are the Lord’s children, and the enemy has no power over us. We must crush the head of the enemy, and win the souls of the lost. Preach the good news of the gospel to every man, for this is our reasonable service unto the Lord.

It is time that we who are of the household of faith put aside the things of the flesh, and walk in newness of life. We must leave those things, which are behind, and press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God. Philippians 3:14 states; I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We are called to be a witness and testimony of how great a salvation we have been given in Christ Jesus. We are truly blessed, and we are to be a blessing to others as well.

Take heart my brethren, for no matter what we have done in our past, the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and give us newness of life in Him. His grace abounds, and if we would but surrender all to Him, the Lord will restore that which the locust and the cankerworm hath eaten. Joel 2:25 states; And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Be encouraged my brethren, for the Lord is truly with us, and He will make a way where there seems to be none. For He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and He goes before us in all things. His grace abounds my brethren. His arm is not short, nor is His ear not turned to the cries of His people. He hears you when you cry out to Him in your prayer closet. He feels your pain my brethren, and His heart is ever moved by your faith in Him to deliver you from the snares of the enemy, which are set before you. For He is our God, and He will never leave us nor will He forsake us. My brethren, go boldly before His throne of grace, and seek His holy face like never before. For our Lord is Almighty God, and He will truly give you the desires of your heart. Amen.

“A Prayer Unto The Lord”

Oh my precious Saviour, have mercy upon me a sinner. My faults are many, and my sins number the sands of the seashore. In you I am made whole. Wilt thou that I be made whole? You are my rock. You are my salvation, in whom I will fully trust. I ask my Lord that you will reach down thine mighty arm, and deliver me. Deliver me from the enemy of my soul, who has compassed me round about, and set me free.

Oh Lord Jesus, hear my cry, and deliver my soul. You are my rock. You are my strong high tower, in whom I will fully trust. Hear me now, and deliver me my Lord. You paid the price for my sins that I could never pay, and you have made a way where there seems to be none. Oh my precious Lord Jesus, heal my body from all infirmity, and lift up my head. For in you there is no shadow of turning. In you, there is no uncertainty. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and I will trust in you.

Father God, I pray that you will hear my cry, for I am in a dry and weary land, where there is famine, drought, and pestilence. I am in such a place of need. Reach down your mighty arm, and rescue me my God.

Oh my Lord, there is no one to turn to. No one will lend and ear to my cries. You are my only hope, and I need you so very much in this my hour of need. I have sought wise counsel, and I have sought your face in prayer. You are the restorer of my soul, and only in you will I trust.

Holy Spirit, flow through me. Flow through me like a river moving through my very soul. Speak through me to the brokenhearted, and the downtrodden. Use my hands to build that which the enemy of my soul has torn down. Use me my Lord, for I am a willing vessel. For you are the Potter, and I am the clay. Mold me and shape me into your image my Lord. Use my life, for I surrender all to you. I sell all that I have for that pearl of great price, and I ask that you would but make me a doorkeeper in your heavenly kingdom, oh Lord.

For yours is the power, and the glory, and the victory is yours my Lord Jesus. You have given me the victory over my circumstances, and I will walk in this truth, for you are my rock, and my shield in whom I will completely trust.

It is to you that I give all of the glory, honor, and praise oh Lord. For you are glorious my Lord, and you are the lover of my soul. I love you my precious King, and I will shout from the highest rooftop that you are my Lord, and that you are my God. Hear my cries oh Lord. Search my heart my King. For you are the author and the finisher of my faith, and you are faithful to complete that work which you have started.

Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me. Thank you my King for dying on the cross of Calvary for me. Thank you for forgiving me of my countless sins. You are so worthy to be praised, honored, and glorified. All of the praise belongs to you my Lord, and I will glorify your holy name forever. Amen.

“Trials and Tribulations”

Romans 8:35; Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril of sword?

The Lord Jesus has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to those of us who are of the household of faith, that no matter what trials and tribulations come upon us in this life, we are to trust in our Lord Jesus who goes before us in all things.

The fiery trials that we go through in this life, are fleeting. No matter what the enemy tells us, we are indeed more than conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37 states; Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Place your faith and trust in Jesus my brethren, for He goes before us in all things, and He will complete that perfect work which He has begun in our lives, no matter what fiery trial we may be going through in this life right now. The Lord is faithful, and He will make a way where there seems to be none, for we are His workmanship, we are His handiwork, we are His little children, and He loves us with an everlasting love.

Your faith may be shaken right now, but have faith, and trust that the Lord will see you through this fiery trial in your life. For no matter what persecutions may come, nothing can separate us from the love of our Lord Jesus. At this time, I am going through a test of my faith. The enemy is encamped round about me, and in my flesh it would seem that there is no way for victory. I have been brought to a place in my life where I must trust in the Lord with my whole heart, mind, and soul. I cannot look to the left or to the right, and I cannot look to man for deliverance. The Lord is calling me to trust in Him for His provision, and He has not left me without hope. For He is forever with me, and I will not waver in serving Him.

Be encouraged my brethren, for there is a way which seems right unto a man, but the ends thereof is death. However, in and through our Lord Jesus, His way leads to victory in our lives over the enemy. Proverbs 14:12 states; There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Be warned my brethren, for the devil will try and sift you like wheat. His strategy is to divide and conquer, and he will use any and all means at his disposal to try and destroy us. We have been given all authority over the enemy given to us by our Lord Jesus to tread on the heads of serpents, and grind the enemy of our souls to dust. We must pray fervently, and read and study God’s holy word without ceasing for our adversary the devil is seeking whom he may devour. We are in a warfare that is not carnal, but it is of the spirit, and we must seek the face of the Lord like never before. We must repent of our sins, and be salt and light in this lost and dying world. For we are living in such a time when evil is called good, and good is called evil. We are indeed living in the last days, and as it is, this world will wax worse and worse. prepare your hearts my brethren for that which is coming upon all mankind in this hour. Put on the whole armour of God, and forsake the things of this world, for our Lord is calling us our from among them. He is calling us to be separate in this hour. We are His remnant that will preach the good news of the gospel of peace to those who are lost in these last days. Prepare your hearts my brethren, prepare your hearts. May God bless you mightily my beloved. Amen.

“Fight the Good Fight of Faith”

1 Timothy 6:12; Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

My precious brethren, the Lord has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to us as His followers. Fight the good fight of faith my brethren. No matter what snares the enemy puts before us, the Lord is sure to deliver. The enemy is seeking whom he may devour, and he poised for attack against those who call on the name of Jesus. Be quick to resist him my brethren, for he wishes to sift us like wheat. The Lord Jesus has given us the weapons to fight against the devil, for our weapons are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God. The devil is a defeated foe, and we have the final victory in and through our Lord Jesus. The Lord has promised to restore that which the moth and the cankerworm hath eaten, and he has promised to destroy the works of the enemy. Trust in Him my brethren, for His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give no place to the devil. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Do not look to the left or to the right, for the Lord will bring the increase. We as followers of Jesus have put our hands to the plow, and we must not take them off, nor should we look back. Stay focused my brethren, for we are more than conquerers through Christ Jesus, our Lord who strengthens us. For the Lord has given us the victory in and through His death on the cross of Calvary. We must trust in Him, for all things work together for good to them that love the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 8:28 states; And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Be encouraged brethren, for the Lord is in control, and He will finish the perfect work that He has started in each and every one of us who call upon His holy name. No matter what the circumstances, we are promised the victory over death, hell, and the grave.

Do not be dismayed my brethren, for no matter what you are going through in your life right now, the Lord Jesus is with you. For He will never leave you, nor will He forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 states; Let your conversation be without coveteousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. The Lord is our shepherd, and He will lead us in green pastures. He is our holy Saviour, and He is in control.

Brethren, trust in God, for He will keep you from the snares of the enemy. He is faithful and just, and He is merciful and kind. He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and He will make a way where there seems to be none. We are called the sons of the Most High God, and we are of all men truly blessed. Remember; be wise as serpents, and gentle as doves, for the Lord Jesus is our most holy King, and we are His kings and priests. Preach the gospel of peace to every creature, and take the gospel to the utter most parts of the earth for His namesake. For we are indeed living in the last days, and our Saviour and King is returning very soon for His spotless bride. Keep your garments unspotted by the world my brethren. Be ye holy as our Lord is holy. Put Him first in your lives, for He is our all in all, and He is our most holy redeemer in whom we must trust. Amen.

“The Grace and Mercy of The Lord”

2 John 3; Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Greetings brethren. The Lord Jesus has placed a message upon my heart that speak to us as His followers. I have been going through a fiery trial in my life for the last six months. I have been encamped round about by the enemy, and have been fighting such a battle, even for my very soul. The Lord has shown me that I must trust in Him no matter what it is that I see with my fleshly eyes. The enemy’s strategy is to divide and conquer. We as followers of Jesus must put on the whole armour of God, and trust that no matter what the circumstances, the Lord will deliver us. Psalm 18:2 states; The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer: my God, my strength, in whom I will trust: my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

For the Lord Jesus hears our cries. His arm is not short, and His hand will deliver us from all of our enemies. Those who claim to be our friends, but are messengers of Satan sent to buffet us, will be stopped. The Lord will deliver us, for His Holy Spirit rests upon the righteous. The Lord will deliver us, and He will never leave us nor will He forsake us. Trust in Him my brethren, for the Lord Jesus sticks closer than a brother, and His will shall be done in our lives no matter what the circumstances.

The Lord has shown me during this fiery trial in my life that He is able to deliver, and that His presence never leaves those who call upon His holy name. Trust in Him my brethren, for it is during these times that The Lord is closest to us. He sees us in our weakness, and in our weakness He is strong. He has compassion upon us for He knows that we are but flesh, and that we are on this earth for such a short season of time. Do not be dismayed my brethren, for they will say all manner of evil against us, but the Lord will save the righteous. For our righteousness is as filthy rags before the Lord, but His mercies are renewed in the morning. Do not be dismayed or disheartened, for those who would plot to destroy us will be brought low. For the Lord is our deliverer, and He sees the hearts of His people. There will be a day my brethren when there will be no more tears, and no more pain. For the Lord shall wipe away all of our tears, and give us newness of life, for all eternity. Pray for your enemies my brethren, and bless those who curse you, for they have their reward. Matthew 5:44 states; But I say unto you, Love your enemies; bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Brethren be not deceived, for the Lord came not to bring peace, but He brought a holy sword. Those of your own house will be your enemy, and we must pray for them that the Lord will save them mightily. It is time that we pray for those who claim to be followers of Jesus, but have not the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. For the world will know that we are indeed followers of Jesus by our love one for another. Do not be deceived, for the Lord Jesus is setting apart His remnant in these last days. Many lying signs and wonders will be made manifest, but they are tricks of the devil, and many will be deceived by them in these last days. Pray the Lord of the harvest will come, for the time is indeed short. The enemy would wear down the saints of God, but the Lord has made a way for us, and we indeed have the victory. Praise ye the Lord ye saints of the Most High God, for He is our deliverer, and He will never leave us nor will He forsake us. Trust in Him my brethren, for His mercy endures forever, and He will make a way where there seems to be none. Seek His face like never before, and His sure promise is that the victory is ours. For one day very soon, he will come for His spotless bride. Praise ye the Lord ye saints of the Most High God. Amen.

“The Lukewarm Church”

Revelation 3:14-22; And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of creation of God; I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot: I would that thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and not that thou art wrethched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and annoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent. Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am sat down with my father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Greetings brethren. The Lord has placed a message upon my heart that speaks to us who are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, to walk worthy in Him. As I was reading the Lord’s holy word, the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart to give a message about our lukewarmness as a church in these last days. The Lord spoke to my heart as I read about the church of Laodicea in the book of Revelation. I was so convicted of the lukewarmness in my own life, that I fell on my face before the Lord and asked forgiveness of my sin. For so often I have lived a life of compromise before the Lord, and I have been a friend of the world, which has caused enmity between myself and the Lord Jesus. I should have been living a life set apart unto Him, but instead I had one foot in the world, and one foot in the church. I believed that my life was just fine, and that I did not need to seek after the Lord’s holiness for my life. How wrong I was, and I came to a place of surrender in my life, and since then I have not taken my hand off of the plow nor have I looked back. Luke 9:62 states; And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The Lord speaks to us as His followers to be separate from the world. We are to seek the face of the Lord for His direction in our lives, and to understand that to be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God. James 4:4 states; ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. What a powerful scripture! For I know in my life that I was definitely a friend of the world, and as a result I was lost in my sin and away from the Lord. However, the Lord was merciful unto me, and He saved me from my sin, and he can do the same for you if you would but ask Him. Be ye separate from the world my brethren, and you will begin to see the Lord’s blessing come upon your lives as a result of your obedience to Him. 2 Corinthians 6:17 states; wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. The Lord Jesus is indeed calling us to be separate from the world, and as we do this, the Lord will receive us unto Himself.

Often times we try to make the Lord into our own image instead of us letting Him make us in His image. We often times believe the lie that we can live our lives according to the flesh and the lusts thereof, and that the Lord in His grace and mercy will overlook our sin. I must emphatically say that the Lord does not overlook our sin, for the Lord cannot look upon sin, and He calls us to live holy lives set apart unto Himself. The Lord Jesus is returning for a church that is without spot or wrinkle. We are to be a bride that is a chaste virgin, prepared for our Groom, the Lord Jesus, who are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. We are to be wholly set apart unto the Lord and to Him alone. The Lord Jesus is calling us at this hour to set ourselves apart from the world, and forsake the lusts of the flesh, in preparation for out Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you set apart unto the Lord, or are you friends with the world? Revelation 19:9 states; And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Brethren, prepare yourselves for your bridegroom, for the Lord Jesus is returning soon for a church that is adorned with holiness, and set apart unto her Lord.

We as followers of the Lord Jesus must turn from our lukewarmness, as this is what the Lord is calling us to do in this hour. We are indeed living in the last days, and the Lord Jesus is returning very soon. We must prepare ourselves for His soon return by casting off the works of the flesh which soil our garments. We must be obedient to the Lord in this hour by doing those things which He is calling us to do in this hour. Galatians 5:19-21states; Now the works of the flesh are manifest which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings and such like: of which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Brethren, the Lord is calling us as His followers to put off the works of the flesh, and be reconciled unto Him. Do not be deceived by the enemy, for the Lord is calling us to be unspotted by the world. We are to actively pursue holiness in our walk with Jesus, and give no place to the devil. Jame 1:27 states; Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Be encouraged brethren, as you begin to live a life that is pleasing unto the Lord, He will blot out all of your transgressions and sins. The Lord wants us to come to Him in repentance, and turn from our love of the world, and place our hope and trust in Him. As we do this, the blessing form the Lord will be such that we will not be able to contain it. Trust in the Lord Jesus today, for He is at the door of your heart, and He wants to come in and wash you clean. Will you answer the door of your heart, or will you continue in your lukewarmness which leads to separation between us and God? Return to your first love, for the time is short, and the hour fast approaches when we will be called to give an account of how we lived our lives. Did we live our lives holy and set apart unto our Lord, or did we live a life of compromise and sin, bringing a reproach upon the name of our holy Lord Jesus. Revelation 2:4-5 states; Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou hast fallen, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and I will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Amen.

“Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God”

Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Brethren be encouraged, for the Lord is calling us to seek His righteousness, and as we do this, the Lord will add unto us such blessings that we cannot contain, or even begin to comprehend. I have been struggling with certain fiery trials in my life lately, and the enemy has used them to try and take away my joy. I have been attacked from all sides, but I have hope in the Lord, and through prayer, and the reading and study of God’s holy word, that indeed I have the victory. Brethren, no matter what it is that you are going through right now, be encouraged that the Lord Jesus has everything under control. Look to Him for your deliverance, for in due season, He will indeed rescue you. Trust in Him, for He loves you and has only His best for you. I know from experience that in these trying times, it is hard to see the forest through the trees so to speak. However, the word of God is true, and He will come through for us in the midst of our trials if we would but wait on Him.

The Lord Jesus is calling us to listen to His words, and act upon them. Jesus wants to build our spiritual house on an indestructible foundation. Matthew 7:24-25 states; Therefore whosoever hearteth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house on a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. The Lord Jesus is our rock, and He will not fail us. We must keep our eyes fixed upon Him, and not look to the left or to the right. Brethren, understand the strategy of the enemy which is to fill your heart with condemnation and thereby steal your joy. Understand that the condemnation of the devil is not of God, and the enemy will use condemnation to disrupt your walk with the Lord. Romans 8:1 states; There is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Be encouraged my brethren, for the Lord is in control, and He has great things for those of us who are walking in Him. The Lord will not fail us, for He is faithful to keep us as we put all of our faith and trust in Him.

In all that we do we must put the Lord first in our lives. We must seek the face of the Lord, and His will for our lives no matter what the circumstances in our lives. We must repent of our sins, which means that we are to turn away from them. We must trust in the Lord for His mercy endures forever, and His blessings are endless. We must trust that the Lord Jesus has already won the victory over the enemy, and that we are more than conquerers in Him. 1 John 4:4 states; Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he who is in the world. Brethren, be encouraged, for we are more than overcomers, in our Lord Jesus. He is our shield, He is our buckler, and He is indeed our all in all. No matter what thoughts of defeat that the enemy puts in our minds,we must remember that we are more than conquerers over the works of the flesh and the devices of the enemy. For the Lord Jesus has indeed overcome the world, and we are joint heirs with Him. Remember who you are in Christ Jesus, my brethren. The Lord has overcome death, hell and the grave, and in Him we have as well. Praise be to our victorious Lord Jesus!

Brethren, do not be overwhelmed by whatever fiery trial you may be going through at this time, for the victory is yours in our Lord Jesus. He has many good things planned for you, and He is faithful to complete the work that He has begun in you and in your life. Be of good cheer my brethren, for the Lord is in control, and He is not limited by our earthly circumstances. John 16:33 states; These things I have spoken unto you, that ye might have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world. The Lord has indeed overcome this world, and we who are in Him, have the promise that in the Lord Jesus we have overcome as well. Trust in the Lord Jesus for He loves you, and wants you to be victorious in your walk with Him. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy. For the thief comes not but for to steal, kill, and destroy. We are in a spiritual battle. This battle rages on, and we are to be good soldiers of Jesus, putting on the whole armour of God daily, through prayer, and the reading of God’s holy word. We must do all that we can to stand against the wiles of the enemy, and the Lord will do the rest. Have faith in the Lord Jesus that He will finish that work which He has begun in your lives. We must put on the whole armour of God, and use the shield of faith to quench all of the fiery darts of the wicked one. Be patient for the Lord will complete that perfect work which He has begun if we but wait upon Him. James 5:7-8 states; Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord, Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Return to your prayer closets my brethren. Seek the face of the Lord daily through prayer and the reading of God’s holy word. In my own life, the Lord has blessed me beyond all that I could have ever imagined since I have committed myself to pray and read God’s word daily. Remember the strategies of the enemy my brethren, for he comes not but for to steal, kill, and destroy. Seek the Lord with your whole hearts, and be encouraged for in the Lord Jesus, we have the victory. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all of these things shall surely be added unto you. Be Blessed. Amen.
